KHS Litter Campaign

A group of Kinlochleven High School pupils won the regional title of the Coca-Cola Real Business Challenge earlier this year:http://www.keepscotlandbeautiful.org/…/young-entrepreneurs…/ Since then they have also won £300 from Keep Scotland Beautiful in order to help them implement an anti-litter campaign in their local area. The campaign they have in mind involves bringing together our local primaries to organise litter picks in and around each area. The focus of the campaign from Keep Scotland Beautiful this year is ‘waterways’ so the following area has been suggested for Kinlochleven:

The beach at Seagull Island (and the picnic site on the High Road)

They would love it if pupils from local primary schools would get involved. Pupils from Kinlochleven High School will be at each location with equipment, but if you would like to participate and have any litter picking equipment, they would appreciate it if you could take it along. Hoping lots of you can make it along on Saturday 25th June between 10 and 12. Thanks.
