Wellbeing Day 17 June 2016

We had a brilliant time at the Wellbeing Day two weeks ago! We had 6 sessions across the day: yoga, massage, relaxation, gardening, toothbrush relay  and den building with fire making. Thanks so much to Pam from Lochaber Yoga who came all the way from Arisaig to run her session, to Michelle, the Countryside Ranger, Suzie and colleague for doing the toothbrushing game, Maggie for teaching the hand massage and to Donna from Donna Crystal Holistics in Fort Willam for the staff and parent massage treatments. We also had an amazing Rainbow Picnic laid on by the lovely Eileen, Holly and Janka from the canteen. Big thanks also go to Mrs Roberts, Mrs MacBride and Mrs Mills from the High School along with their pupils for all their help – face painting, nail bar and fruit kebab making. Thanks also to our school staff, especially Mrs Minnis and Mrs MacMillan for running the gardening activity.

Everyone rounded off the day with a lovely walk around the village. It was a fantastic day and we will definitely run this event again.
